My Favorite Scream Queen:Michelle Bauer

Michelle Bauer also known as Michelle McClennan, Pia Snow and also her real name,Michele Medvitz was born on October 1, 1958 in Montebello, California. She first had her start as an XXX adult film actress under the name Pia Snow in such 1980's XXX adult films as CAFE FLESH(1982),NIGHTDREAMS(1981) and BAD GIRLS(1982). Later she took the last name of Bauer(who was her first husband's last name) and worked in low budgeted independent horror films such as THE TOMB(1986), REFORM SCHOOL GIRLS(1986) as well as a series of B-movie horror films for directors Fred Olen Ray, David De Couteau and Jim Wynorski such as NIGHTMARE SISTERS(1988), SORORITY GIRLS IN THE SLIMEBOWL ROLLARAMA(1988), HOLLYWOOD CHAINSAW HOOKERS(1988), DEMONWARP(1987), NIGHT OF THE LIVING BABES(1987), ASSAULT OF THE PARTY NERDS(1989), DR. ALIEN (1989), THE PHANTOM EMPIRE(1989),BEVERLY HILLS VAMP(1988),CHICKBOXER(1992), DINOSAUR ISLAND(1991),VAMPIRE VIXENS FROM VENUS(1991), ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT CENTERFOLD(1994),ROD STEELE AGENT 0014: YOU ONLY LIVE UNTIL YOU DIE(1995), as well as starring in two Jesus Franco films, LUST FOR FRANKENSTEIN(1996) & MARICOOKIE AND THE KILLER TARANTULA(1996).Because of these films which in their majority were released directly on video, Ms. Bauer is considered one of the most popular "Scream Queens" of the genre together with her other fellow "Scream Queen"s Linnea Quigley and Brinke Stevens who have co-starred with Ms. Bauer in many of the aforementioned films listed above.This year Ms. Bauer reunited with her former co-stars Quiglley & Stevens in a new genre film written and directed by David De Couteau called 1313 COUGAR CULT to be released in 2012 on home video.
