My Favorite Thing EVER!
To be quite frank with you, part of this is BOUND to be a little gross--but its NOTHING that you dont already know.
Im a woman, and as a woman, I have a period.
I wish I didnt, but its yet time to cross that bridge.
So, about a year ago, while cruising around online one day, I came across THESE.
They are Bebby Tampons. And they are AMAZING. The original site is in Swedish, or Norwegian, or something, but anywaythey are little sponges.
Whats super neat about them is that they are MORE than safe to use on your period. IN FACT, on the box it says endorsed by the sex workers of Europe.
These little sponges have saved my life. NEVER have I EVER had to skip out on sex because of my period (and believe me, I have 2 days where you WOULDNT want be me, sometimes I wonder why I havent died from blood loss). Ive tried using make-up sponges in the past, and that didnt work. Not only was there an issue with leaking, but my partners have always been able to feel them, and they have actually gotten stuck up inside me. If youve never lost an item inside of your body, its TERRIFYING.
But these little beppies are a dream. They come right on out, I cant feel them, my partners cant feel them, they are individually wrapped in plastic-sealed foil, so they are sterile and clean, and will keep for WHO KNOWS how long.
There are two kinds, they wet ones and the dry ones. The wet ones (which come in blue packaging) are better designed for someone who hasnt ever used them before. They are a little bit bigger, only because they have a finger loop in them. They are also slightly coated with a lube, to make insertion a little easier. They are more expensive, but for your first pack, probably worth the difference.
Im to the point where Im a Beppy Pro, so I use the dry ones (which come in red packaging). To me, they seem a little more absorbent, because they dont have a lube in them. But in my opinion, they work a little better, and come out JUST as easy as the wet ones.
