Classical lover.

I'm toying with the idea of finding a lover who appreciates love notes promising pre-arranged rendezvous and trading naughty secrets the old-school way: handwritten, with whiffs of her perfume or my cologne, the occasional lipstick kiss, pressed rose petals and all.

And no, I'm not going crazy-- it's just that in today's fast-paced electronic world, it seems no one's really into such things any more-- and I tend to think emails, no matter how well written in good taste, are no match for a carefully written out note by a thoughtful lover, penned in her own handwriting, ended off in prose or poetry chosen to describe the intensity of her moods, desires and her want of me.

Perhaps there is a part of me that's into nostalgic romanticism, but it's little things like that that add a sense of heightened anticipation and sparkle into modern-day affairs, even if the whole basis of the relationship is nothing more than a good romp in bed.I'm guessing too, that such things appeal to the inner geek in me, given how much of a visual and literary person I am, and when you think about it, there is something erotic about being able to relish the sex that had taken place while reading love notes many hours later.

Maybe I'm asking for too much, but I'd like to believer there is at least one female out there who likes the idea as much as I do.

Or am I mistaken?
