Swirling around my mind all today has been a quote by Aretha Franklin I came across a while ago:

"In life there is always a moment when your future depends on a choice"

And today, in a split-second moment of clarity, I made one of those choices. Now sitting back and waiting for the repercussions.Strangely, the stress and tension of the past few weeks instantly disappeared so I treated myself to an absorbing stroll through a beautiful capital city I would hate to part with.

I feel re-balanced, grounded, focused. For now.
