Debbie Ann Rochon aka Debbie Rochon born on November 3,1968 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Columbia is well known as the most famous "Scream Queen" of the last twenty years as well as the "Queen of Independent Horror Cinema" Her first screen appearance was in the teen rocker cult film LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: THE FABULOUS STAINS(1982) which she did at the age of only 13 when she ran away from her troubled home in Canada.Ever since then Ms. Rochon has done almost 200 film appearances in the last almost thirty years, sometimes making about no less that six independent horror films a year! She has made her film career starring and appearing in films made by such independent film companies such as Troma, Seduction Cinema and Full Moon Home Video.Some of her many films include TROMEO AND JULIET (1996), SANTA CLAWS(1996), TERROR FIRMER(1999), CITIZEN TOXIE(2000),AMERICAN NIGHTMARE(2001), NOWHERE MAN(2008),COLOR FROM THE DARK(2008),POULTRYGEIST (2008).Ms. Rochon was fortunate enough to survive a near rape attack in her younger years(she has a scar on her arm) as well as nearly losing all of her fingers on her right hand in 2003 due to a freak accident in the filming of one of her movies with a machete. But thanks to extensive corrective surgery and rehabilation, she has regained about 90% of ability in her right hand. Ms. Rochon has been inducted in the B-Movie Hall of Fame in October of 2004 and named Scream Queen of the Decade of the 1990's in 2002 and she is now currently residing in NYC being co-host of Fangoria Radio with Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister on weekends on Sirius Radio and hosting Trailer Park on Fangoria TV
